If you like sneasel better, you shouldn't feel the need to evolve it. Sneasel is plenty strong enough as it is, having decent attack and acctually having the best speed of all unevolved pokemon. Take it from me, I have bunch of unevolved powerhouses.

Just saw this and was wondering, did you ever evolved it? If so, do you believe you did the right thing? I kinda have the same dilemma, but I like Sneasel 1000 times more ^^

Btw awesome job on the pic. It is very cute, and I love the fact that it paints itself with berries, very creative :D

I evolved mine, even though Sneasel is my "favoritest" Pokémon ever...est?

I think it's worth it because of the stats up, plus Weavile learns Night Slash (Dark) instead of Slash (Normal). Even though they have the same basic attack, Night Slash gets a x1.5 damage bonus since Weavile is a Dark type.
